Is it possible to retain the date and time if turn the AC plug off and on?

Unfortunately, this is not possible because BRAVIA does not have a clock battery.

This is a hardware specification.

However, information of the exact date and time can be acquired and set by connecting BRAVIA to the internet.
You can turn it on by going to System＞Date & Time＞Automatic date & time. (default ON)

In addition, there is a solution for setting NTP server.
